Dan Roan is the Sports Editor for BBC News.

He graduated from Cambridge University and joined the BBC as a News Trainee in 1998 – worked as a reporter and producer in sport and news on regional programmes in Bristol and Leeds.

Dan Joined Sky Sports News in Nov 2003 and covered major stories including reporting live from FA Headquarters throughout the ‘Svengate’ affair, and securing the first and only interview with FA Chairman Geoff Thompson following Mark Palios’ resignation.
