The programme, which first launched on BBC World in February 2014, will unveil its new and third look from 7.00pm tonight.
In February 2017, the OS screen was overhauled, but this third on air look will be without the touchscreen.
Presenter Ros Atkins tweeted that the programme will try something a little different but not AR:
“We are interested in AR and have experimented with some new tech which we may or may not use down the track. We decided against doing it daily though.”
Good luck to @BBCRosAtkins and the OS team as they launch a fresh new look with a classy new graphics package that allows us to tell the story even more clearly. And that’s never been more important. pic.twitter.com/bY5kRrBup8
