More BBC News reporters have changes roles within recent weeks.

Social Affairs Correspondent Richard Bilton has replaced Ben Brown, who is now a presenter on BBC News 24, as a Special Correspondent based outside of London.

Catherine Marston takes over from Bilton as Social Affairs Correspondent, also based outside of London.

Alex Bushill, who reported extensively on the aftermath of the London bombings for Breakfast last year, has left his position at BBC London News to become the BBC’s South West of England Correspondent.

Branwen Jeffreys is now a Health Correspondent and Sophie Hutchinson is Family Correspondent.

Alastair Leithead has been appointed as the BBC’s Kabul Correspondent, replacing Andrew North who left for Baghdad.

Barbara Plett has left the Middle East and is now an Asia Correspondent.

Daniella Ralph has left her role of Washington Correspondent and is currently a general News Correspondent based in London.

Laura Trevelyan remains in the U.S. but now becomes the BBC’s U.N. Correspondent.

And, Emma Simpson has also left the US. She is now a Europe Correspondent, based in Moscow.
