Anderson Cooper

Anderson Hays Cooper – born June 3, 1967 – is an American television journalist.

He is the primary anchor of the CNN news broadcast Anderson Cooper 360°.

The program is usually broadcast live from a New York City studio; however, Cooper has often broadcast from CNN’s studios in Washington, D.C., or on location for breaking news stories happening around the world.

In addition to his duties at CNN, Cooper serves as a correspondent for 60 Minutes on CBS.

From September 2011 to May 2013, he also served as host of his own eponymous syndicated daytime talk show, Anderson Live.

While promoting his book, Cooper told Oprah Winfrey that he had dyslexia as a child. In August 2007, he confirmed his “mild dyslexia” on The Tonight Show to Jay Leno, who also has dyslexia.
