Sky Sports News presenter, Ed Chamberlin, is battling stomach cancer.
Writing on his Sky Sports Blog last month, Ed said: “My apologies for the absence of this blog over the last couple of weeks.
“I was diagnosed with cancer in my stomach last month, which thankfully is very treatable and the chemotherapy is already well under way.
“I will be back on Sky Sports News pretty soon! I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you who have sent kind messages – it has made a big difference.”
Ed has been having chemotherapy treatment with a final major session due this Tuesday.
The TV Newsroom would like to wish Ed a speedy recovering.
