Piers Morgan has quit the NBC talent show, America’s Got Talent.
Morgan announced his departure at the end of his CNN talkshow on Wednesday night.
“I can exclusively reveal that I’m leaving America’s Got Talent.
“I’ve been a judge since the shows began six years ago. I’ve loved every single second, but discovered that juggling – to my surprise – really is a bit more difficult than I thought, so I am going to focus on what will be a huge year at CNN with the upcoming election.”
Morgan has been a judge on the show since 2006, and was also a judge on the British version, Britain’s got talent with Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell, but stepped down after taking on a heavier load back in January after signing up with CNN to replace Larry King.
