It’s been announced that Piers Morgan’s new CNN Show ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ will launch on Monday 17th January 2011 at 9pmET. Piers Morgan’s first guest will be the American television host, Oprah Winfrey.

Lou Dobbs has told viewers that he is leaving CNN with immediate effect.
Dobbs, who joined CNN in 1980, informed his staff members of his intentions in a meeting this afternoon.
He ended tonight’s programme saying “I’ve talked extensively with Jonathan Klien, he’s the president of CNN, and as a result of those talks, John and I have agreed to a release from my contract that will enable me to pursue new opportunities.
