Liverpool v Red Star – UEFA Champions League 2018/19 – Live TV Coverage on BT Sport

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool face Red Star Belgrade in Group C of the Champions League at Anfield this evening.

Liverpool look to get back to winning ways after a late goal downed them in Napoli.

The only past contests between these sides – and Liverpool’s only experience of Serbian opposition – came in the second round of the 1973/74 European Cup, Red Star winning both legs 2-1 to reach the quarter-finals, where they would lose to Atletico Madrid.

The Anfield result was Liverpool’s first home loss in UEFA competition; the second did not follow for another 18 years.

The first leg of the Red Star-Liverpool tie, in Belgrade, was played on 24 October 1973 – 45 years to the day before this game.

Match coverage begins at 7.00pm on BT Sport 2 with live streaming on BTSport.com and via the BT Sport App.

Kick-off 8.00pm.

BT Sport will also air Tottenham’s clash with PSV from 5.15pm on BT Sport 3.
