Paul Brand is a UK Editor for ITV News

Previously he covered the politics of northern England, Scotland and Wales for ITV Regional News.

He was the first journalist to break the result in Sunderland as votes were counted in the EU referendum – the earliest signal that the UK was headed for Brexit.

Paul is also a co-founder of the LGBT campaign ‘School Diversity Week’.
