Lindley Gooden is a reporter for Five News.
Lindley joined Five from the BBC where he was a reporter for the Seven O’clock News on BBC Three. Gooden began his career in local radio as a reporter, presenter and news editor before moving to London to read the news for a number of national and local stations.
Lindley then moved to Radio 1 as a Senior Broadcast Journalist in 1999, covering thousands of stories across the UK and abroad over the next 4 years.
During ten years in news, he’s covered stories ranging from the Soho and Ealing terrorist bombings in London, the Soham murder inquiry, two General Elections, to the Queen Mother’s funeral.
