Keir Simmons - Biography and Images

Keir Simmons is a news reporter for NBC News.

He has covered stories as diverse as the Tsunami, the 7 July 2005 London bombings and the death of Russian Alexander Litvinenko for ITV News.

He was born in London in 1972, grew up in Bristol, and received a Bachelor’s degree from Goldsmiths College in London.

Keir joined ITN as a reporter for IRN in 1996, before becoming a sometime general reporter on its ITV News service in 1998. He has remained with the organisation since but has intermittently worked for Sky News, Five News and ITV’s London Tonight. On 30th September, it was announced that Keir would be promoted from Crime Correspondent to UK Editor.
